Night Flight is the ultimate example of the proven genetic
combination of the Cleveland Bay and the Thoroughbred, and
possesses the bone, foot and superb temperament for which
the breed is famed. The
Cleveland
Bay
has been used for centuries by the top studbooks in Europe
to improve the qualities of such breeds as the Hanoverian,
Oldenburg,
Holstein and Gelderlander among
others.
Night
Flight is extremely athletic, supple, free moving and
talented. He is very intelligent, bold and honest and very
sweet and personable. A very elegant horse, he is a
consistent winner in hand and an excellent sport horse sire.
Night Flight has much to offer breeders. An extremely
versatile breed that has produced many top eventers, show
jumpers, dressage, driving and of course foxhunting horses,
Night Flight has already sired
offspring that are
successfully eventing at the American Eventing
Championships. The 3/4 Tb 1/4 Cleveland
Bay has long been proven to be
the ideal cross for Advanced eventing among other things.
Night Flight has exemplary conformation with the
notably uphill topline so advantageous in the modern
competition arena. A superb cross to improve on any breed,
all offspring are fully eligible for registration with the
Cleveland Bay Horse Society Part Bred register and as such
can be shown in breed classes at Upperville etcetera.
Night
Flight is available live cover and will stand at a reduced
introductory stud fee of $850, including $250 booking
fee, for 2010 (formerly $1250). Shipped chilled semen
available if demand warrants.
