Evans Sport Horses is located at Walnut Creek Farm, in Raphine, minutes from Exit 205 off of I-81, in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley.

Karen Evans and Page Graves have a lifetime of diverse experience with horses and specialize in training, competition, and offering quality horses for sale.

Walnut Creek Farm offers excellent trial facilities, including a large arena with a course of stadium jumps, and cross country fences set in both wooded and open riding land.

We offer full training board for breaking, schooling, competition and problem solving for all disciplines – English, Western, gaited etc.. Novice thro’ advanced riders, and green horses are welcome, and excellent instruction is available from Karen /Page.

Ship in lessons are also available.

Karen is a member of the Glenmore Hunt and many of our sale horses are competing A circuit Jumpers and/or foxhunting.

Our sale horses are hand selected based on multiple criteria including soundness, conformation, athleticism, temperament, pedigree and abilities. Our horses range from jumping ponies through to 17.2hh European Warmbloods, and are suitable for a multitude of disciplines and levels, including dressage, eventing, jumping, foxhunting, Pony Club etcetera. Whether you are looking for an all around pleasure horse or an A circuit jumper , we may well have the horse that is compatible with your needs.

All of our horses are in professional training five days a week and have a solid foundation in dressage, stadium and cross country jumping and are used to being hacked out both alone and in groups. They are current with their shots, de-worming, shoeing, teeth floating etc.
